Hello there dear peoples, 'long time no news on great but lately poor kept site' was an e-mail sent just a couple of days ago by an anxious Bauer fan. We are indeed guilty of poor maintainance of Bauer-Plaza, but that's all going to change real soon. We have been busy you know, Berend just did a CD of mainly instrumental stuff for films and TV and Sonja did the cover. We've been working on new stuff, we already got 7 new songs. 2 of those new ditties can be heard live on the 19th of October at the A2A festival in Odeon venue at Het Singel in Amsterdam! So please attend! The exact time is tbo right here at Bauer-plaza. Please get back to us soon also for answer to the question:What exactly is a Bauer? We've got photo's to prove it! |

Bauer will be playing the Dour Festival this coming Thursday the 5th of July in Belgium after all! The first band on the Soulwax stage fell thru so Bauer will deliver some serious chachacha at 18:00 in the 'La Petit Maison Dans La Prairie' tent. Please be kind as we open with Feel The New Wave. |

Bauer just finished a song for a SHAGGS tribute compilation album on Animal World Recordings in the US. The song Bauer picked is We Have A Saviour from the Philosophy Of The World album. It wasn't an easy task to combine The Shaggs with the Bauer sound, but it worked out just swell. Other bands on the compilation are Optiganally Yours, Thinking Fellers Union Local 282 and the Furtips from Arnhem and much more. Soon to be released! |

| The Bauer show in Tivoli with Das Pop felt really excellent, we we're sitting on each others faces musically and we could sence the audience appreciated that. Lot of people afterwards thought we should have played much longer. Ah well. It was our first show with the peoples of Das Pop who we're really really nice and cooperative and check this out: it turned out they are hurrrrrrrrrrrreal Bauer fans too, they even thought CSS was the best album of the year. We are humbly breathing in these kind words. Next show with The Poppy's will be on the 1st of March in Doornroosje Nijmegen. Yesterday was the last real show with Wim and the audience gave him a real warm farewell applause, thanks for that on behalf of Wim. The T Shirts went really well too! Most popular cotton conversation piece item was the Can't Stop Singing one, and the most sold size was LARGE. |

'Conamus rewards Bauer for a fantastic project', were Jerney's exact words, 'woweeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee', were ours! Words like : intresting, gazed, confused, impressive and ...mama are in place here!
